WHere is a simplified interpretation of a cocktail from our latest cocktail list. Designed as a large-volume premix that is bursting full of tastes of a Christmas time, rendering it ideal for hosting a festive gathering. Save the extra cordial to use in morning drinks, sweets, or to mix additional servings of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 guests
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Premix (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
For the Syrup: Place the listed items inside a pan, heat until it reaches a simmer, agitating to dissolve. Next, take off the heat allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Decant to a sealable bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, where it will keep for around one month.
Preparing the Batch Mix: Pour every liquids into one big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Add 85ml from the batch mix into your mixing glass filled with ice, gently stirring gently for about 60 seconds until cold. Pour into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, top with a few cranberries and finish using a light spray of mandarin oil above the glass.
