Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
